The HR Department employs only translators who have obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher. In fact, more than 60% of our translators have master’s degrees and most of them have over five years of translation experience. In addition to the aforementioned services and project categorizations, we subdivide our translators into law and contracts, business and finance, IT communications, mechanics and electronics, construction engineering, chemistry and medicine, software localization, patents and literature categories, based on their respective fields of specialization. The project coordinator arranges the translator most appropriate for your project, in accordance with the particular area of expertise for each respective project, and thereby ensures the most efficient, accurate completion of the work. This is true not only with respect to translations between Chinese and English but for every document or communication we handle. All projects involving foreign languages are processed by highly experienced native translators and proofreaders from the corresponding countries to ensure the precision of each translation and its compliance with the local vernacular and customs. LocaTran Translations is thus building an organization of capability, capacity and vision, in which every staff member and associate is encouraged to learn and grow. For example, we hold monthly translation lectures and topical seminars for participation by all departments in order to enhance the technical and occupational skills of our personnel.
